For Azure Film d.o.o., we designed a modern filament extrusion and winding system focused on fast, continuous and optimised production. The process starts with a double extrusion unit, after which the filament travels through hot and cold water baths before entering the enclosed winding section.

The system was designed to support high filament travel speeds while keeping the production process stable, clean and efficient. A key feature is the integrated buffer winder positioned above the winding cabinet, which allows the filament to be added quickly and smoothly when it exits the cooling section.

At the end of the line, the filament is collected on a double final winder with quickly removable and swappable spools. This enables faster spool changes and reduces downtime during production. Besides its technical functionality, the system was also designed with a modern visual identity, combining industrial performance with a clean and professional appearance.
